What to Expect

Each week builds on the last. Students enter the world of Palinar as new heroes, grow their characters across the summer, and leave with skills — and artifacts — they earned.

1

Make Something Real

Monday or Tuesday kicks off the week with crafting. Students build a physical item — a prop, token, or character piece — that will have a role in Friday's session.

2

Finish & Prepare

Wednesday or Thursday completes the craft. Students leave with something in their hands and a reason to show up Friday ready to use it.

3

Bring It to the Table

Friday is roleplay day. The craft enters the story — and what students made with their hands becomes part of the world they're playing in.

4

Groups Come Together

Every Friday, Group A and Group B join at the same table for a shared roleplay session — 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All Young Adventurers, one party, one story.

Weekly Schedule

Two groups run simultaneously — same content, same curriculum, different days. Choose the schedule that fits your family.

Monday · Wednesday · Friday

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Monday

Craft Session

Students work on a hands-on craft project that will become part of their character or story — a prop, token, or item they'll bring to Friday's table.

Wednesday

Craft Session

The project continues and is completed. By the end of Wednesday, every student has something real in their hands — ready for the adventure ahead.

Friday

Roleplay + Convergence

The craft comes to life at the table. Group A and Group B join together for a shared roleplay session — same age group, same time slot, one big party.

Group B

Tuesday · Thursday · Friday

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Tuesday

Craft Session

Students work on a hands-on craft project that will become part of their character or story — a prop, token, or item they'll bring to Friday's table.

Thursday

Craft Session

The project continues and is completed. By the end of Thursday, every student has something real in their hands — ready for the adventure ahead.

Friday

Roleplay + Convergence

Group A and Group B come together for a shared roleplay session — all Young Adventurers at the same table, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The craft enters the story and the full party plays as one.

Both groups meet together every Friday — 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Same age group, same time slot, one table.

Questions

Does my child need to know how to play D&D?
Not at all. This track is specifically built for players who are brand new to TTRPGs. The GM walks everyone through the basics and keeps the scaffolding in place so no one feels lost. All your student needs to bring is curiosity.
How many kids are at each table?
Tables are capped at 6 students per GM. This keeps every session personal — no one disappears into a crowd, and the GM can give real attention to every player at the table.
What if my child misses a session?
Life happens. Missing a session doesn't end anyone's journey. We provide a brief catch-up summary and the character carries forward. Crafting projects can be picked up at the next session without falling behind.
What are the specific June and July dates?
Dates are being finalized as we confirm the venue. Join the waitlist to be first to receive enrollment details and lock in your spot.
Can my child move to the Senior Guild next year?
Yes — that's exactly how it's designed. The program is built as a multi-year arc. A Young Adventurer this summer can return as a Senior Guild player next year, and eventually as a DM Apprentice. Each year builds on the last.

The Maker's Guild

Every session includes hands-on crafting across seven disciplines. By summer's end, each participant has a physical collection of artifacts from their adventure.
