Saturday at the Table
Open Roleplay Sessions — Every Saturday
Saturday is for the table. These standalone sessions exist outside the camp calendar — no enrollment arc, no prerequisites, no commitment beyond showing up ready to play. Two sessions. Two different energies. Both run by rotating Guest GMs bringing new systems and stories every week.
The Afternoon Guild is built for younger players who are ready to explore roleplay — whether they've rolled dice before or just want to try. Sessions lean into collaborative storytelling, character moments, and the occasional hands-on craft that ties into the adventure. Every week features a Guest GM running something fresh — different systems, different worlds, always approachable.
Rotating Guest GMs
A different GM each week means different games, different styles, and a chance to discover what kinds of adventures you love most.
Occasional Craft Element
Some weeks include a quick hands-on craft — a prop, a map, a character token — something tangible to take home from the story.
Beginner Friendly
GMs are selected for their ability to bring new players in gently. No system knowledge required — just curiosity and a willingness to try.
The Evening Council is for players ready to go deeper. One table runs a rotating Guest GM system — new games, new mechanics, one-shots and short arcs. The other table is an ongoing campaign with narrative continuity, character growth, and stakes that carry forward. Pure TTRPG. No crafts. Just the story and the dice.
One-Shot / Guest GM Table
Drop in for a complete story in a single session. A new GM each week means exposure to different systems — Blades in the Dark, Ironsworn, Call of Cthulhu, and more.
Ongoing Campaign Table
A living world with persistent characters and plot threads. Seats here are reserved — this table rewards consistent attendance and builds real narrative investment.
Focused & Immersive
This session runs clean — no interruptions, no crafts, no warm-up. Players arrive ready and the story starts at 6:00.
Single Session
Reserve one Saturday at either time slot. Pay when you book. Seats are held once payment is received.
Book a SessionMonthly Pass
Lock in your seat for all four Saturdays in a given month. Covers one time slot per week — Afternoon or Evening.
Standalone Format
Saturday Sessions are completely independent from Creative Journeys camps and tutoring programs. No enrollment history required — just show up.
Seat Limits Are Real
Six players per table is a firm cap — TTRPG playability depends on it. Reserve early, especially for the ongoing campaign table in the Evening Council.
Monthly Pass Logistics
Monthly passes are tied to one session slot. If you want to attend both Afternoon and Evening in the same week, book separately.
Guest GMs
Rotating GMs are vetted facilitators bringing games they know and love. Session content is always age-appropriate for the scheduled slot.
What to Bring
Nothing required — dice, character sheets, and materials are provided. Bring snacks if you'd like. We handle the rest.
