Freelancer Travel: Best Places To Visit

Getting some fun travelling around the world can be more than just a tour and this depends on how you plan out your adventure.

If you’re a freelancer, the technology available to us now enables us to work from literally anywhere in the world.

To make the fun worth the while, you have got to see out some exotic places where there are picturesque landscapes that will leave you awestruck and impress some beautiful memories in your mind.

The world is indeed a large orb and only the adventurous one can explore its beauty. There are quite a number of places that you should include in your travel plans.

One of the best ways to ensure a consistent flow of work if you are a freelancer that’s planning to travel is to partner up with a digital marketing agency who can outsource some of their work to you. This is a great option if you specialise in something like web design or copywriting.

So, let’s travel the world to see out a number of places that can make your journey a colourful escapade.

So, you may be asking the question: where exactly can I visit to make my travel a pleasurable one? Here, I will be sharing places- though might not be the common ones- you can explore while on your (sightseeing) adventure. I have decided to select a few countries. So, here we go:

China is not all about martial arts or another country without splendour. Beyond Beijing; there are some other beautiful features around China. For instance, the 300ft Spiral staircase by Taihang Mountains of Linzhou should help you, as a tourist, gain some heights on nature. However, should you not be satisfied with this, you can go check out the Painted Mountain in the Zhangye Danxia landform geological park or the Red land in Dongchuan District and you will appreciate the power of colours.

From Paris where you get to see the iconic Eiffel Tower and some other exquisite monuments to Strasbourg where you satisfy your sightseeing fancy with a capture of German and France architecture, France offers an array of exciting scenery to make your creative journey a reality. And not to forget; you can take a tour through the Gardens of Marqueyssac to experience nature in a different dimension.

Take a tour around the Sudoeste Alentejano National Park and also explore the beautiful coastline of Vila Nova de Milfontes and feel the tranquillity that nature dishes out. Without taking anything from some other admirable places in Portugal, the delightful landmarks of the Baixa district- which appears to have some resemblance with Chinese architecture- and the city of Lagos will give you something you would love to have in your picture book for years to come.

Talk about the attractive landmarks in Italy’ s renaissance city, Florence or the calming ambience you can get from Lake Como or the Amalfi Coast and Capri then all you will want to do is to make plans of going beyond Rome and the Colosseum whenever you visit Italy. And what about the Craco ghost medieval village? It needs to be stated here that the landscape of Italy as a whole, is punctuated by some of the world’s most exciting architectures that could make you exclaim: Wow! One more thing; should you, realise that you are feeling hunger pangs while on tour, you can treat yourself to some Italian cuisines at the Cliff Restaurant- another masterpiece that will ‘spice up’ your journey into a world of creativity.

If a dive into a journey of creativity is all you desire then you have to visit the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia. The intricately woven natural showpiece should be enough to pull you into this European enclave as you seek to satisfy your (travelling) pleasure. But should you be wanting more fun from your Croatian adventure; you can get down to the Hidden Beach in Southern Dalmatic or take a walk through Krka National Park.

With places like Juzcar- which was made colourful out of the movies- and Logrono and some other interesting places, Spain boasts a vast array of attractions that would lure tourists to its borders. Furthermore, you have to keep in mind that cities like Tenerife and Bilbao also portray landmarks that stand among the best in the world.

Just like an image from the children’s picture book, this Dutch Caribbean Island makes your journey a delight you will love to paint on the canvass. Willemstad, no doubt, is a city of alluring creativity and your creative journey should not be discontinued without a visit to this island.

The list is definitely an endless one. I could go on telling you about the small town of Blagaj with its stunning lake and picturesque landmarks; the Rainbow Row in South Carolina; the Library of Alexandria in Egypt…and so on. Permit me to make a special mention of the Labassin Waterfall Restaurant in the Philippines- what’s interesting about this, is the fact that nearly everything around this eatery is man-made and that includes the waterfall itself.

Nonetheless, what you need to draw out from this, is that nature is filled with beauty and colours and these two add flavours to lives. But to have these flavours, you have to the explore the world- get on the move and go beyond your shores. So, maybe it’s time to begin your journey into the world of creativity.
